경찰 "음주 정황 확인…급발진·마약은 아냐"

[서울=뉴시스] 오정우 기자 = 관악경찰서.2024.07.09.[서울=뉴시스] 오정우 기자 = 음주 상태로 무면허 운전을 하다 다중 추돌사고를 일으킨 20대 남성이 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

서울 관악경찰서는 9일 교통사고처리 특례법상 업무상과실치상,여자야구연맹도로교통법상 무면허·음주 운전 혐의로 20대 남성 A씨를 입건해 조사 중이다.

A씨는 이날 오전 8시50분께 서울 관악구 당곡사거리에서 음주 상태로 차를 몰며 앞서가던 차량 두 대를 들이받은 혐의를 받는다.

사고로 차량 한 대가 중앙분리대를 넘어가며 반대 차선에서 오던 차량과 부딪혔고 6중 추돌사고로 이어진 것으로 파악됐다.

사고를 낸 A씨는 안면부에 부상을 당해 병원으로 이송됐으나 생명에 지장은 없는 것으로 파악됐다.추가 부상자는 없는 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰은 A씨의 음주 정황을 확인했으나 부상을 입은 탓에 호흡을 측정하지 못했다고 전했다.

경찰 관계자는 "급발진이나 마약을 복용한 것으로 조사되지는 않았다"며 불구속 상태로 추가 혐의를 조사하겠다고 밝혔다.
