최근 한 대학이 여학생의 생리 공결 증빙 서류를 강화했다는 소식이 알려지면서 누리꾼들 사이 갑론을박이 벌어졌습니다.

생리 공결은 생리통이 극심해 수업에 참석하지 못한 경우 출석을 인정해 주는 제도인데요.

지난 12일 이 대학 홈페이지에 올라온 공지사항입니다.

"오는 2학기부터 생리 공결 시 진단서 및 진료확인서와 함께 소변검사를 실시해야 한다"는 내용이 담겼습니다.

이어 "소변검사를 실시하지 않는 병원에서 받은 진료확인서는 출석 인정을 받을 수 없다"고 강조했는데요.

이 같은 조치를 두고 "대부분이 생리 공결을 악용하니 저렇게 되는 거다",한일 월드컵"병가에 대해선 증명하는 게 맞다"라는 의견과,한일 월드컵"여학생에 수치심 주는 이상한 조항이다","저렇게까지 해야 하느냐"며 엇갈린 반응이 나왔습니다.

이에 대해 학교 측은 "올해 1학기 전체 출석 인정의 53.5%가 생리 공결 출석 인정으로 나타나는 등 일부 학생이 생리통과 무관하게 결석을 인정받는 수단으로 활용함에 따라 부정 사유를 예방할 수 있는 방안을 모색했다"고 설명했는데요.

정작 생리 입증 목적의 소변 검사는 의학적 근거가 없는 것으로 알려졌습니다.
