[헤럴드경제=권제인 기자] 네이버클라우드는 28일 개막한‘2024 부산모빌리티쇼’에서 웨일 차량용 브라우저가 탑재된 르노코리아의 신차‘그랑 콜레오스’가 공개됐다고 밝혔다.

네이버클라우드는 자동차에 최적화된 차량용 브라우저를 개발해 르노코리아 D SUV 그랑 콜레오스에 탑재했다.이는 지난 2월 르노코리아자동차·드림에이스와 체결한‘자동차용 웹 플랫폼 구축 협력’을 위한 업무협약(MOU)의 일환이다.

르노코리아 그랑 콜레오스에서는 웨일 차량용 브라우저를 통해 ▷온라인 동영상 ▷음악 스트리밍 ▷소셜미디어 등 다양한 웹 기반 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.웨일 차량용 브라우저는 자동차 내부의 하드웨어 시스템과 웹 서비스가 유기적으로 연결될 수 있도록,kazino 온라인자동차 환경에 맞게 최적화했다‘브라우저 탭 기능’을 제거하는 등 직관적인 UI를 구현했다.

웨일 차량용 브라우저는 호환성이 높아 자동차 하드웨어나 OS의 제약 없이 다양한 인포테인먼트 서비스를 제공한다고 네이버클라우드는 강조했다.웹 기반이 아닌 인포테인먼트 시스템의 경우 해당 OS에 맞는 앱을 따로 개발하고 업데이트해야 하지만,kazino 온라인웨일 차량용 브라우저에서는 웹 표준에 맞춰 손쉽게 웹 앱을 개발해 탑재할 수 있어 서비스 확장성도 높다.

네이버클라우드와 르노코리아는 이용자에게 한층 폭넓은 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 협업을 이어갈 계획이다.
