24년 상반기 자본시장 불공정거래 신고 포상금 지급실적

[금융위원회 제공] 금융위원회 증권선물위원회가 올해 상반기(2월~6월) 불공정거래 신고 4건에 대한 포상금 지급안을 의결했다.

총 지급액은 1억1330만원.올해 신고 포상금 사업 예산(2억원)의 약 57%에 달하는 규모다.지난 10년동안 포상금 지급액이 연평균 7161만여원이었던 점을 고려하면 상당히 증액된 것이다.

포상금 지급은 작년 9월에 발표한 '자본시장 불공정거래 대응체계 개선방안'의 후속조치다.당시 신고 포상금 제도를 개선한 바 있다.

이에 따라 포상금 지급한도는 20억원에서 30억원으로 증가했다.포상금 기준금액은 상향되는 등 산정기준도 개선됐다.금융감독원 예산으로 지급하던 포상금을 금융위가 정부예산으로 지급하게 됐다.국회와 예산당국의 통제를 받게된 것이다.

금융위 관계자는 "자본시장 불공정거래를 조기 적발하고 피해를 최소화하기 위해서는 신고 포상금 제도의 활성화가 무엇보다 중요하다"면서 "앞으로도 혐의 적발에 도움이 된 신고인에게 적극적으로 포상금을 지급하고 제도를 지속 홍보하는 등 시장참여자들의 자발적인 신고를 유도할 계획"이라고 말했다.

한편 불공정거래 신고는 구체적인 위반사실을 적시해야한다.신분은 엄격히 보호한다.포상금은 불공정거래행위의 중요도에 따라 10등급으로 구분하고 각 등급별 기준금액에 기여율(0~100%)을 곱해 산정한다.
