밀양 성폭행 가해자의 신상을 남편인 유튜버에게 넘긴 공무원이 구속됐다.

경남경찰청 사이버범죄수사대는 공무원 신분을 이용해 유튜버를 도와 밀양 성폭행 사건의 가해자 등의 개인정보를 불법 조회해 제공한 A(30대·여)씨를 공범으로 구속했다고 13일 밝혔다.

지자체 공무원인 A씨는 수십명의 개인정보를 조회해 남편인 유튜버 B(30대·유튜브 채널 '전투토끼')씨에게 제공해 그 중 일부가 유튜브에 유출되게 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

앞서 경찰은 유튜버 B씨를 지난 6월부터 7월 사이 유튜브를 통해 2004년 밀양 성폭행 사건의 가해자로 다수인의 신상을 공개하고 일부 피해자에게는 사과 영상을 자신에게 보내지 않으면 가족의 신상을 공개할 것이라며 협박·강요한 혐의로 구속 수사하고 있다.

현재까지 B씨에 대해서는 고소·진정 총 17건이 접수됐다.경찰은 피해 사례 2건을 추가로 입건해 총 19건에 대해 수사를 진행 중이다.
