아케 프로필 - 2024년 실시간 업데이트

[앵커]

대한항공이 중장거리 노선의 기내 서비스를 착륙 40분 전에 마무리하기로 했습니다.

최근 난기류로 인한 항공기 사고가 잇따르면서,아케 프로필승객과 승무원들의 안전을 보장하려는 조치라는 게 대한항공의 설명입니다.

최광호 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

지난 5월 발생한 싱가포르항공 난기류 사고,아케 프로필항공기가 불과 4.6초 만에 50여 미터를 떨어지면서 승객 1명이 숨지고 80여 명이 다쳤습니다.

카타르항공 여객기도 난기류를 만나 승객과 승무원 12명이 다쳤습니다.

[무파달 알리/카타르항공 탑승객/5월 26일 : "10초에서 15초 사이였는데 제 인생에서 최악의 15초였습니다."]

올 1분기 국적 항공기가 만난 난기류 발생 횟수는 지난해 같은 기간에 비해 두 배 가까이 늘어난 상황.

이에 대한항공은 중·장거리 모든 노선에서 기내 서비스 종료 시점을 최대 20분 앞당기기로 했습니다.

기존에는 항공기 하강이 시작된 뒤에도 서비스를 진행했지만,아케 프로필앞으로는 착륙 40분 전부터 기내식과 물 제공 등의 서비스를 중단하기로 한 겁니다.

항공기 하강 시 고도 간 온도 차이로 상승기류 발생이 잦은 만큼,승객과 승무원의 안전을 고려해 마련된 조치입니다.

갑작스런 난기류에 대비한 안전 수칙 준수도 강조했습니다.

[대한항공 관계자 : "좌석벨트 착용은 가장 쉽고 확실한 안전 수단입니다.좌석벨트 (착용 표시)등과 상관 없이,아케 프로필자리에서는 항상 벨트를 매고…."]

싱가포르 항공도 좌석 벨트 표시등이 켜질 때 기내식 서비스 중단을 발표하는 등 늘어나는 난기류에 항공사들의 기내 안전 대책도 강화되고 있습니다.
