서울=연합뉴스) 임수정 기자 = 금융당국과 금융권이 부실 부동산 프로젝트파이낸싱(PF) 사업장의 조속한 정리를 위해 대출 만기 연장 기준을 높인다.

금융위원회와 금융감독원은 27일 전국은행연합회 등 11개 협회·중앙회 및 7개 관계기관이 PF 대주단 상설협의회를 열고 'PF 대주단 협약'을 개정했다고 밝혔다.

만기 연장이나 이자 유예에만 기댄 '좀비 사업장'을 제한하기 위한 것이다.

금융당국과 금융권은 작년 4월 개정·시행된 PF 대주단 협약을 통해 PF 사업장에 대한 '옥석 가리기'를 진행해 왔는데 사업성이 극히 낮은 사업장에 대해서도 무분별한 만기 연장이 이뤄진다는 지적이 계속돼 왔다.

이에 개정된 협약 내용에 따르면 2회 이상 만기 연장 시 회계법인 등 외부 전문기관의 사업성 평가가 의무화된다.

아울러 2회 이상 만기 연장 시에는 의결 기준을 종전 '3분의 2(66.7%) 이상 찬성'에서 '4분의 3(75%) 이상'으로 높였다.

이자 유예는 원칙적으로 기존에 발생한 연체 이자를 상환하는 경우로만 제한한다.

PF 사업장 재구조화·정리 상황을 상시 모니터링할 수 있도록 만기 연장·이자 유예 내용을 은행연합회에 설치한 사무국에 통보하도록 했다.

이번 금융권 대주단 협약 개정 내용과 동일하게 저축은행과 여신전문금융,디즈니 카지노상호금융 등 개별업권별 대주단 협약도 다음 달 초까지 순차적으로 개정된다.

한편 작년 4월 시행된 'PF 대주단 협약'에 따라 지난 3월 말까지 총 484개 사업장이 협약 적용을 신청했다.

이 중 정상화 가능성이 낮은 30개 사업장에 대해서는 신청이 부결됐다.공동관리 절차가 개시된 443개 사업장 중 99곳은 사업성 저하 등으로 절차가 중단됐다.

지난 3월 말 기준 공동관리 절차가 진행 중인 사업장은 329개이며,디즈니 카지노만기 연장이 263건으로 가장 많았다.이자 유예 248건,디즈니 카지노이자 감면 31건,디즈니 카지노신규 자금지원 21건 등이 그 뒤를 이었다.
