[울산=뉴시스] 유재형 기자 = 음주운전으로 5차례나 처벌받고도 또다시 음주운전 사고를 내고 그대로 달아난 50대 남성이 실형을 선고받았다.

울산지법 형사1단독(판사 이성)은 도로교통법위반(사고후미조치·음주측정거부) 혐의로 기소된 A씨에게 징역 1년을 선고했다고 30일 밝혔다.

A씨는 2023년 10월 울산 북구의 한 도로에서 술에 취한 상태로 승합차를 운전하다 신호대기 중이던 B씨의 승용차를 뒤에서 들이받는 사고를 내고 그대로 달아난 혐의로 기소됐다.

이 사고로 B씨는 84만 상당의 차량 수리비 피해를 입었다.

A씨는 B씨의 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰이 음주측정을 요구하자 4차례나 거부하기도 했다.
