만취 상태로 차를 몰다가 배달기사를 치어 숨지게 한 20대 여성 DJ 안 모 씨가 1심에서 징역 10년의 중형을 선고받았습니다.

법원은 안 씨가 사고 직후 상황 인식도 못 하는 만취 상태였다며 중대 교통사고 고의범에 가까운 책임이 있다고 지적했습니다.

김범주 기자의 보도입니다.

만취 상태로 음주운전을 하다 오토바이 배달기사를 치어 숨지게 한 클럽 DJ 20대 여성 안 모 씨가 1심에서 징역 10년의 중형을 선고받았습니다.

서울중앙지법은 위험운전치사와 사고후미조치 혐의 등으로 재판에 넘겨진 안 씨에 대해 징역 10년을 선고하고,토토 환급사고 당시 이용했던 벤츠 차량을 압수했습니다.

안 씨는 지난 2월 3일 새벽 서울 강남 논현동에서 음주 상태에서 벤츠 차량을 몰다가 1차 교통사고를 내고,토토 환급별다른 조치 없이 사고 장소를 떠나 다시 운전하다가 오토바이 배달기사인 50대 남성을 치어 숨지게 한 혐의를 받습니다.

안 씨는 사고 당시 도로 제한속도를 넘는 시속 100킬로미터 이상으로 달리던 상태였고,혈중알코올농도는 0.221%로 면허 취소 수준을 넘어선 것으로 경찰 조사결과 드러났습니다.

재판부는 "피고인은 1차 사고 직후 취한 것을 인지하면서도 다시 운전을 택해 회피 가능한 사고를 일으켰다는 점에서 위법성이 중하다"고 지적했습니다.

또,"사고 직후 상황 인식도 못 하는 만취 상태였다"며 "과실범이지만 고의범에 가까운 책임이 있다"고 질타했습니다.

한편 안 씨는 사고 직후 피해자에 대한 구호 조치 없이 반려견을 끌어안고 있던 모습이 온라인상에 퍼지며 논란을 일으켰습니다.

아울러 구속된 뒤엔 "어린 시절 아버지를 잃고 어머니와 단둘이 살아왔다"고 호소했지만 아버지가 살아있다는 사실이 드러나며 비판을 받기도 했습니다.
