한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)이 지역아동센터와 비영리단체 종사자의 원활한 업무 추진을 지원함으로써 지역사회 ESG 경영을 확산하기 위해 '대구·제주 지역아동센터 및 비영리단체 재제조 노트북 지원사업' 전달식을 개최했다.

NIA는 매년 민관협업을 통해 기관의 불용자산을 업사이클링해 사회공헌 재원을 조성하고 있다.

2021년도에 사회적기업(리맨,카지노 1회다시보기한국IT복지진흥원)과 'ESG 경영 강화를 위한 디지털 업사이클링 업무협약'을 체결했다.이후 데스크탑과 노트북 등 기관의 불용자산 총 1400여대를 지속 기증해 약 3500만원 상당 기부금 재원을 조성했다.이번 사업을 통해 해당 기부금을 활용해 대구·제주 지역아동센터와 비영리단체 총 18개소를 대상으로 업무용 재제조 노트북을 보급한다.

전달식 이후에는 보급기관 중 일부를 선정해 센터 내 아동을 대상으로 기관의 전문성을 활용한 소프트웨어 체험 교육을 운영할 예정이다.

황종성 NIA 원장은 “기관의 불용자산 처분과 기증 사업을 지속 추진할 예정”이라며 “사회적기업 등과 민관협력을 통해 지역사회에 ESG 경영 성과를 확산하는데 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
