서울 동작경찰서는 지난 1일 주거침입,셰필드 노팅엄재물손괴,셰필드 노팅엄중상해 혐의로 20대 남성 A씨를 체포해 조사 중이라고 8일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난 1일 오후 1시께 서울 동작구 상도동 한 단독주택 문을 부수고 들어간 후 50대 여성 B씨를 주먹으로 수차례 때린 혐의를 받는다.

경찰은 'B씨의 비명 소리가 들린다'는 시민의 신고를 접수하고 약 10분 만에 A씨를 긴급 체포했다.

A씨의 폭행으로 인해 B씨는 뇌출혈,셰필드 노팅엄양안·망막 출혈 등으로 전치 2주 이상의 부상을 입은 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰 조사 결과 A씨는 B씨 옆집에 사는 이웃인 것으로 드러났다.

경찰은 A씨가 정신 이상을 앓아 범행을 일으켰다고 조사했고 A씨에 대한 구속영장을 신청했다.다만 법원은 '도주 우려가 없다'며 구속 영장을 기각한 것으로 확인됐다.

경찰은 이번 주 A씨를 송치할 예정이다．
