[헤럴드경제=김광우 기자] 지적 장애가 있는 조카가 집안일을 거부한다는 이유로 폭행해 숨지게 한 사건이 벌어졌다.

10일 부산지검 여성아동범죄조사부(부장검사 손은영)는 지적 장애가 있는 조카를 목검 등으로 7시간 동안 때려 살해한 혐의(살인)로 40대 A씨를 구속기소 했다고 밝혔다.

검찰에 따르면 A씨는 지난 5월 17일 부산에서 같이 살던 20대 조카가 집안일을 거부한다는 이유로 이 같은 범행을 저지른 것으로 드러났다.

검찰은 A씨에게 목검을 가져다주는 등 범행을 부추긴 아내 B씨는 살인 방조 혐의로 불구속기소 했다.

검찰은 상해치사 등 혐의로 송치된 이 사건을 보완 수사하는 과정에서 A씨가 약 10개월에 걸쳐 피해자를 상습적으로 폭행했고 사망 당일에도 복부 통증을 호소하는 피해자를 마구 폭행해 숨지게 한 사실을 밝혀냈다고 말했다.
