프로농구 선수 허웅(31·KCC)이 "사생활 폭로를 빌미로 3억원을 요구받았다"며 전 여자친구를 26일 경찰에 고소했습니다.

허씨의 법률 대리를 맡은 김동형 변호사는 이날 서울 강남경찰서에 공갈미수,협박,최신 슬롯을 무료로 플레이스토킹처벌법 위반 등 혐의로 허씨의 전 여자친구 A씨에 대한 고소장을 냈다고 밝혔습니다.

김 변호사는 이날 언론에 배포한 보도자료에서 "A씨가 2021년 5월 말부터 허씨의 사생활을 언론과 SNS,최신 슬롯을 무료로 플레이소속 구단 등을 통해 폭로하겠다고 협박하며 허씨에게 3억원을 요구했다"며 고소 배경을 설명했습니다.

2021년 5월 A씨가 허씨와 사이에서 임신하게 되자 "출산 전에 결혼을 해야 한다"고 주장했고,허씨가 "결혼은 조금 더 고민해봐야 한다"고 하자 돌변해 협박했다는 게 허씨 측 주장입니다.

A씨는 인공임신중절술을 받았고 허씨와는 3년간 만남과 헤어짐을 반복하다 2021년 말 최종 이별했다고도 덧붙였습니다.

허씨 측은 "네 앞에서 죽어버리고 싶어" 등 A씨가 보낸 카카오톡 메시지도 공개하면서 A씨가 이후에도 허씨 의사에 반해 주거지에 침입했다고도 주장했습니다.

또 A씨의 마약류관리법 위반 혐의,최신 슬롯을 무료로 플레이공모가 의심되는 A씨의 지인 B씨도 함께 수사해 달라고 경찰에 요청했습니다.

김 변호사는 "유명 운동선수라는 이유로 피고소인들에게 오랜 기간 지속해 공갈 협박을 당하고 있다"며 "제2의 이선균 사태가 발생하지 않도록 수사기관에 신속하고 밀행적인 수사를 진행해주길 부탁했다"고 밝혔습니다.

허웅은 '농구 대통령' 허재(59) 전 남자농구 국가대표 감독의 아들로 2023-2024 시즌 프로농구 챔피언결정전에서 소속 팀 부산 KCC를 정상으로 이끈 주역입니다.
