카카오게임즈는 스마일게이트희망스튜디오(이사장 권혁빈) 주최로 지난 13일 대전 드림 아레나에서 열린 '2024 유스 e스포츠 페스티벌(Youth e-Sports Festival)'에 후원사로 참가해 장학금과 후원물품을 기부했다고 16일 밝혔다.

2024 유스 e스포츠 페스티벌은 게임문화 접근성 취약지역에 있는 아동과 청소년들이 e스포츠를 체험하고 게임산업 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

카카오게임즈는 이번 대회에서 온라인 예선전을 거쳐 본선에 진출한 지역아동센터 아동들 중 우수한 성적을 낸 팀에 '골드상'을 시상하고 장학금을 전달했다.또한 대회 참가자 전원에게 '라이언 및 춘식이 키링' 등 카카오프렌즈 굿즈를 선물했다.
