(서울=연합뉴스) 김정진 기자 = 전국장애인차별철폐연대(전장연) 활동가가 2일 지하철 시위 도중 경찰관에 침을 뱉은 혐의로 현행범 체포됐다.

경찰에 따르면 서울 혜화경찰서는 전장연 활동가 40대 김모 씨를 공무집행방해 혐의로 연행했다.김씨는 현재 서울 성북경찰서 유치장에 입감돼 있다.

경찰에 따르면 김씨는 이날 오전 8시 30분께 서울 지하철 1호선 동묘앞역 승강장에서 경찰관에게 침을 뱉은 혐의를 받는다.

김씨는 다른 전장연 활동가들과 함께 지하철 1호선 열차를 타고 기어가는 방식의 '포체투지'(匍體投地) 시위를 한 뒤 하차 도중 범행한 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰은 증거 자료 등을 분석한 뒤 김씨에 대해 조사를 진행할 예정이다.

한편 또 다른 전장연 활동가 2명은 전날 오후 6시 40분께 마포대교에서 경찰관을 폭행한 혐의로 현행범 체포돼 마포경찰서에서 조사받고 있다.

이에 전장연은 "경찰은 차량통행을 빌미로 행진 대오를 분리시키고 고립시켰으며 이에 항의하는 활동가를 강제로 끌어내리고 막아섰다.경찰의 과도한 행진방해와 물리력 행사에 대해 정당한 항의를 했을 뿐"이라며 석방을 촉구했다.
