서부산의료원 건립사업 우선협상대상자가 최종 선정되면서 사업 추진이 탄력을 얻게 됐다.

부산시는 14일 오전 10시 서부산의료원 건립 예정 부지에서 '서부산의료원 우선협상대상자 선정 결과보고회'를 갖고 '(가칭)서부산힐링플래닛(주)'을 서부산의료원 건립사업의 우선 협상대상자로 선정했다고 밝혔다.

서부산힐링플래닛(주)은 지난 4월 1차(PQ) 평가를 통과한 다음,조승우 야구7월 31일 사업계획서를 제출했으며 사업계획서 평가 결과 1000점 만점에 780.90점을 득해 우선협상대상자로 선정됐다.

지난 2015년부터 추진된 서부산의료원 건립사업은 지난해 3월 부산시와 사하구가 '서부산의료원 조기건립을 위한 업무협약'을 체결하고 올해 사하구 소유부지 매입을 완료했다.

또한 건설공사비 지수 급등으로 공공부문 공사가 잇따라 유찰되는 어려운 상황 속에서도 시가 적극적으로 노력한 결과 기재부로부터 사업비 한도액 증액을 이끌어내면서 지난 사업시행자 모집에 이어 이번 우선협상대상자 선정이라는 성과를 이루게됐다.

시는 우선협상대상자와 실시 협상을 추진한 후 실시협약과 실시계획 승인 등 제반 절차를 거쳐 오는 2026년에 착공해 2028년 준공할 계획이다.

임대형 민간투자사업 방식으로 추진되는 서부산의료원은 연면적 3만2445㎡,부지면적 1만4381.5㎡,지하 1층~지상 6층의 300병상 규모의 종합병원이다.

박형준 부산시장은 “서부산의료원 건립사업은 부산 동·서 간의 지역 의료격차 해소,조승우 야구공공보건 의료체계 강화,조승우 야구감염병 위기 상황 대응을 위한 지역주민의 숙원인 만큼 서부산지역의 거점 공공의료기관으로서 의료 15분 도시 조성과 의료안전망 역할을 충실히 할 수 있도록 2028년 완공까지 서부산의료원 건립에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.
