(예산=연합뉴스) 이주형 기자 = 여신도들을 지속해 추행하거나 성폭행한 혐의로 1심에서 징역 23년을 선고받은 기독교복음선교회(통칭 JMS) 총재 정명석 씨와 관련,카지노 존 한국인경찰이 또 다른 여신도를 강제추행한 혐의로 정씨를 검찰에 넘겼다.

충남경찰청은 30대 여신도 A씨를 추행한 혐의로 정씨를 송치했다고 14일 밝혔다.

A씨는 2018년 12월께 충남 금산군 소재 수련원 등지에서 정씨로부터 여러 차례 추행을 당했다며 지난해 경찰에 고소장을 제출했다.

경찰은 A씨와 함께 강제추행을 당했다고 신고한 20∼30대 여신도 2명에 대해서도 수사를 지속해 피해 사실이 있다고 봤으나,카지노 존 한국인이들이 개인신상의 이유로 고소를 취하하며 수사 종결했다.

항소심 재판이 진행 중인 피해자를 제외하고 현재까지 정씨를 성폭행과 강제추행 등 혐의로 경찰에 고소한 여신도는 미성년자를 포함해 19명이다.

경찰은 지난해 11월께부터 최근까지 피해자 9명에 대한 수사를 마치고 정씨를 세 차례 송치하는 한편,카지노 존 한국인남은 피해자 10명에 대한 조사를 이어가고 있다.

이 중 6명에 대한 수사는 마무리 단계로 이달 말께 송치할 계획이다.

앞서 대전지검은 지난달 28일 여신도 2명을 대상으로 모두 19차례에 걸쳐 성폭력 범행을 저지른 혐의(준강간죄)로 정씨를 추가 기소했다.

또 정씨의 범행에 가담하거나 도와준 혐의(준유사강간방조),카지노 존 한국인피해자가 고소하지 못하도록 각서를 쓰게 한 혐의(공동강요) 등으로 정씨의 주치의와 JMS 인사담당자 등 3명을 불구속기소 했다.

검찰은 현재 재판 중인 사건과 송치 기록을 면밀히 검토해 추가 피해자 또는 정씨 범행을 도운 내부 조력자가 더 있는지 살펴볼 방침이다.

정씨는 2018년 2월부터 2021년 9월까지 수십차례에 걸쳐 여신도 3명을 성폭행·추행한 혐의(준강간·강제추행 등)로 재판에 넘겨져 1심에서 징역 23년을 선고받았다.
