국내 대표 전문 가상자산 거래소 코인원(대표 차명훈)이 자금세탁방지시스템(ALM) 고도화 프로젝트를 완료했다고 4일 밝혔다.금융권 시스템을 기반으로 도입된 기존 시스템을 가상자산사업자 맞춤형으로 업그레이드한 것이 특징이다.

코인원은 지난해 5월부터 자금세탁방지 컨설팅 및 솔루션 구축 전문기업 에이블컨설팅과 협력해 AML 고도화 프로젝트를 진행했다.이번 AML 고도화 프로젝트에서는 RA(위험평가)모델 및 요주의리스트 필터링 고도화,에버턴STR(의심거래보고)룰 신설 등이 포함됐다.자금세탁 의심거래 및 고위험 고객에 대한 분석과 내외부 보고 프로세스를 효율적으로 구축해 자금세탁방지 모니터링을 강화했다.

올해 STR 담당자들을 본사 사옥으로 합류시키면서 2021년 설립 이후 별도 사무실에서 운영하던 AML센터도 내재화했다.자금세탁방지 정책 기획·운영과 컴플라이언스 등 유관부서 간 커뮤니케이션 및 업무를 최적화해 STR 업무를 강화했다.
