장마가 시작되면서 도로 침수 위험 경고 등 안전 안내 문자가 발송되고 있는데 정작 운전할 때는 휴대폰을 확인하기가 힘들죠.

앞으로는 내비게이션 안내를 받아 바로 대피할 수 있게 됩니다.

"300미터 앞에 홍수주의 구간입니다."

내비게이션을 켜고 운전하는 길.

홍수경보 지점을 1.5km 앞두면서부터 이를 알리는 음성 안내가 나오기 시작합니다.

내비게이션 화면에도 '홍수주의' 표시와 함께 홍수경보 발령 지점이 몇 미터 남았는지 실시간으로 나타납니다.

이번엔 홍수경보가 발령된 지점에서 내비게이션을 켜봤습니다.

화면에는 경보 발령 시점과 함께 '도로 침수 주의'라는 문구가 뜹니다.

안내 문구를 눌렀더니,넷볼파워볼반경 1.5킬로미터 안의 지역들이 빨간 원으로 표시됩니다.

홍수로 인해 침수 우려가 있는 지역을 나타낸 건데,넷볼파워볼CCTV 화면을 통해 실시간으로 상황을 파악할 수도 있습니다.

마찬가지로 댐 방류 지점으로부터 반경 1킬로미터 이내에 진입하면 알림이 뜹니다.

이번 서비스는 지난해 충북 청주시 오송 지하차도에서 발생한 인명사고 등 여름철 도로 침수로 인한 사고가 반복되자 고안된 겁니다.

비가 많이 오면 긴급재난문자가 발송되지만 운전 중에는 효과적이지 않다는 지적이 많았습니다.

"운전하실 때는 사실은 문자 확인이 조금 어려우시잖아요.보통 내비게이션을 쓰시니까 내비게이션에서 알려주는 이런 형태로 하게 된 것입니다."

알림 대상은 전국 223개 홍수 경보 발령 지점과 댐 하류에 있는 251개 댐 방류 경보 지점입니다.

이번 서비스에 참여하는 기업은 카카오모빌리티와 티맵모빌리티,넷볼파워볼네이버 등 6곳입니다.

다만 내비게이션은 운전 주의 경고만 할 뿐 직접 우회도로를 알려주지는 않습니다.
