경기도 법인카드 유용 의혹은 2018∼2019년 당시 경기도지사였던 이 전 대표와 배우자 김혜경 씨가 당시 도청 별정직 5급 공무원인 배모 씨 등에게 샌드위치,카지노 가속과일 등 개인 음식값 등을 경기도 법인카드로 결제하도록 하는 방식으로 경기도 예산을 사적으로 유용했다는 것입니다.
이 의혹은 전 경기도청 별정직 직원인 조명현 씨가 폭로하면서 알려졌습니다.
앞서 조씨는 김혜경 씨와 전 경기도청 총무과 별정직 5급 배모 씨가 법인카드를 사적으로 유용했다고 신고했으며,카지노 가속배 씨는 이 의혹과 관련한 공직선거법 위반 혐의로 기소돼 징역 10월에 집행유예 2년을 선고받았습니다.
조씨는 지난해 8월에는 국민권익위에 이 전 대표의 법인카드 유용 지시 및 묵인 행위를 조사해달라며 신고했고,카지노 가속수원지검은 권익위가 '이 대표가 배우자의 법인카드 유용 사실을 알았을 개연성이 있다'고 판단해 대검에 이첩한 사건을 넘겨받아 수사해왔습니다.
