삼성전자는 분실해도 쉽게 찾을 수 있는 사물인터넷(IoT) 신용카드를 KB국민카드와 협업해 출시했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이 IoT 신용카드는 삼성전자의‘스마트싱스 파인드’서비스를 기반으로 한다.저전력 블루투스(BLE) 기술이 적용된 스마트싱스 파인드는 갤럭시 스마트폰·태블릿·웨어러블 등 삼성 기기들의 위치를 확인할 수 있는 서비스다.

이번에 출시된 IoT 신용카드에는 스마트싱스 파인드가 내장돼 있다.신용카드를 넣어 둔 지갑을 분실했거나 카드 보관 장소를 잊어버렸을 때 신용카드의 국내·외 위치를 확인할 수 있다.갤럭시 스마트폰과 BLE 통신 연결이 해제된 마지막 장소나 최근 7일간의 위치 기록을 확인 가능하다.

IoT 신용카드를 이용해 스마트폰을 찾을 수도 있다.스마트싱스 파인드 서비스에서‘찾기 및 알림 기능’을 설정해 두면 IoT 신용카드의 하단 버튼을 눌러 스마트폰의 벨 소리를 울릴 수 있다.

IoT 신용카드와 연결된 갤럭시 스마트폰과 거리가 멀어지면 앱 푸시 알림을 해주고 빅스비를 통해 음성으로 카드 위치를 확인할 수도 있다.

IoT 신용카드는 스마트폰 무선 충전기로 충전할 수 있으며,거푸집 존치기간1회 완충 시 약 30일간 사용할 수 있다.

삼성전자와 KB국민카드가 국내 최초로 출시하는 IoT 신용카드는 아메리칸 익스프레스 브랜드의‘KB국민 스카이패스 IoT 티타늄 카드’로,거푸집 존치기간1000매 선착순 한정 발매된다.발급 신청은 이날부터 KB국민카드 홈페이지와 KB Pay 앱에서 가능하다.
