(부산=연합뉴스) 차근호 기자 = 김재윤 부산 금정구청장이 25일 오후 병환으로 별세했다.

25일 지역 정치권에 따르면 김 구청장은 지난 9일 뇌출혈로 쓰러진 뒤 부산의 한 병원에서 치료받아왔다.

수술받은 뒤 중환자실에서 집중 치료를 받았으나 이날 건강이 악화하며 끝내 숨진 것으로 알려졌다.

금정구는 지난 9일부터 부구청장 직무대리 체제로 운영돼 왔다.

1958년생으로 올해 66세인 김 구청장은 2022년 6월 제8회 동시 지방선거에서 부산 금정구청장으로 당선되며 임기를 시작했다.

김 구청장은 2002년부터 제4대 금정구의원으로 정치에 입문했고,최악의 고백 월드컵5대와 8대(2018∼2022) 등 3선 구의원을 거쳤다.
