[산청=뉴시스] 서희원 기자 = 경남 산청군은 자살예방사업 일환으로‘생명사랑 농약사’를 운영한다고 24일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 농약이 자살 수단으로 사용되기 전 자살 고위험군을 조기에 발굴하기 위해 마련됐으며 특히 농약으로부터 안전한 환경을 만들고 사회안전망 구축을 통한 자살률 경감을 위해 추진된다.

사업은 산청군 정신건강복지센터가 농약판매업소를 직접 찾아 자살 위험 신호 인지 시 대처방법,생명지킴이 교육 등을 실시하며,현재 지역 내 농약사 37곳 중 23곳이 참여 의사를 밝히는 등 참여 독려 등을 통해 업체를 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

경남 산청군은 최근 군청 대회의실에서‘2024년 여름철 자연재난 점검회의’를 실시했다고 24일 밝혔다.

회의는 여름철 풍수해와 폭염 등 자연재난에 대한 상황관리 능력을 향상하고 대응체계를 구축해 군민의 인명과 재산피해를 최소화 하기 위해 추진됐다.

회의는 부군수 주재로 종합대책,월드컵 여자 축구추진실적,추진대책,월드컵 여자 축구향후계획 등 보고가 있었으며,특히 군민 안전을 위한 꼼꼼하고 세밀한 점검에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 했으며,월드컵 여자 축구앞서 산청군은 여름철 재난대응을 위해 인명피해우려지역,산사태취약지역,급경사지,건설사업장 등에 대한 현장점검을 시행한 바 있다.
