비좁고 어두운 이 통로 너머 19살 청년이 일했던 공간이 있습니다.

유족이 둘러본 이 공간은 배관과 먼지,콩두빙빙소음이 가득했습니다.

이런 곳에 혼자 있었구나,콩두빙빙유족 목소리가 떨렸습니다.

[이런 곳에서 일한 거예요?저기 OO이 신발이에요?]

지난달 16일,콩두빙빙전주 한 제지 공장에서 만 19살 청년 노동자가 숨진 직후 모습입니다.

오전 9시 20분쯤 발견됐습니다.

쓰러진 뒤 한 시간 넘게 방치된 걸로 보입니다.

[여기는 일하는 곳이 아니에요.그냥 점검만 하고 나가는 곳이에요.]

이 청년,콩두빙빙올해 특성화고를 졸업하고 이 공장에 취업했습니다.

이제 6개월 일한 사회 새내기였습니다.

소지품에서 나온 수첩에는 올해 목표가 적혀 있었습니다.

'하기 전에 겁먹지 말기' '구체적인 미래 목표 세우기' 청년 꿈은 단정하고 소박했습니다.

월급을 계산해 달마다 저축할 액수를 적었습니다.

오후엔 꼭 책을 읽고 운동도 하겠다고 계획했습니다.

하고 싶은 일이 많았지만 이제 하지 못합니다.

유독 가스 중독이 의심됐지만 그동안 업체는 부인했습니다.

유족은 사과와 진상 규명을 요구하며 장례를 치르지 않았습니다.

어제(7일) 조사에서 미량 황화수소가 검출됐고 업체는 그제야 사과했습니다.

[유가족 : 하고 싶은 거 다 하고 하늘나라에서 그렇게 지냈으면 좋겠어요.너무 빨리 철이 들어서 저희는 그게 더 가슴이 아파요.]

숨진 지 22일 만인 오늘,콩두빙빙유족은 장례를 치렀습니다.

목표를 쓴 수첩은 영정 아래 놓였습니다.

사망 원인을 밝힐 부검 결과는 일주일 안에 나옵니다.
