피아니스트 선율 [더브릿지컴퍼니 제공]

[헤럴드경제=고승희 기자] 피아니스트 선율(23)이 2024 지나 바카우어 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 우승했다.

30일 소속사 더브릿지컴퍼니에 따르면 선율은 이날 미국 솔트레이크시티에서 열린 2024 지나 바카우어 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 우승을 차지한 것은 물론 청중들이 뽑는 청중상(Audience Prize),학생 심사위원상(Student Jury Prize)을 받았다.

선율은 이번 콩쿠르 파이널 1라운드에서 베토벤 피아노 협주곡 제1번,레온 대 우라와 레즈파이널 2라운드에서 프로코피예프 피아노 협주곡 제3번을 연주했다.콩쿠르에서의 우승으로 선율은 상금 5만 달러와 뉴욕시에서의 공연,레온 대 우라와 레즈유타 심포니 오케스트라와의 협연,레코딩 발매 등의 특전을 부상으로 받는다.

1976년 처음으로 열린 지나 바카우어 국제 피아노 콩쿠르는 클리블랜드 국제 피아노 콩쿠르,반 클라이번 국제 피아노 콩쿠르와 더불어 미국 3대 콩쿠르로 불린다.역대 한국인 우승자로는 신창용(2018),이소연(2002)이 있다.

선율은 예원학교 졸업 후 서울예술고등학교 재학 중 한국예술종합학교 예술영재선발전형으로 입학했다.2022년부터 프랑스에서 공부 중인 그는 현재 파리 스콜라 칸토룸을 졸업 후 현재 프랑스 파리 에꼴노르말음악원에 재학 중이다.앞서 포르투갈 비제우 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 2위와 청중상,윤이상 국제음악콩쿠르에서 3위를 수상했다.다음 달 19일 예술의전당 리사이틀홀에서 단독 리사이틀을 연다.
