산업부,괴물주"하반기 대형 컨테이너 선박 일곱 척 투입"

정부가 해상물류 운임비 상승으로 국적선사를 통해 세 척의 임시 선박을 긴급 투입한다.또 하반기 중 대형 컨테이너 선박 일곱 척을 주요 노선에 투입하고,중소·중견기업 전용 선복을 약 1,685TEU(1TEU는 20피트 길이 컨테이너 1개) 규모로 공급하기로 했다.

산업통상자원부는 14일 열린 경제관계차관회의에서 이 같은 내용의 수출입물류 영향 및 대응 방안 안건을 상정했다고 밝혔다.중동 지역 갈등으로 수출품 선적 등에 직접 영향은 제한적이지만 해상 운임이 오르고 있다.수에즈 운하 이용이 어려워지면서 선박들이 희망봉으로 우회하기 때문이다.

이에 산업부는 국적선사 HMM을 통해 6,괴물주7월 중 물동량 수요가 많은 미국 서해안과 동해안,중동 지역에 세 척의 임시 선박을 긴급 투입할 계획이다.하반기 중에는 새로 건조한 대형 컨테이너선 일곱 척,괴물주총 7만 TEU 규모를 주요 노선에 투입한다.아울러 항차당 1,괴물주685TEU 규모의 중소·중견기업 전용 선복 공급도 추진한다.

수출기업의 운임 비용 부담 경감과 유동성 지원을 위해 물류비 지원이 가능한 수출 바우처 하반기 지원분 202억 원은 조기 집행한다.산업부는 앞으로 운임 상승 추이를 지켜보며 추가 물류비 지원 방안도 검토할 방침이다.

산업부 관계자는 "최근 벌어진 운임비 상승 추세는 당분간 지속될 가능성이 크다"면서 "관계 부처와 협업해 국적선사 전용 선복 지원 등 이번 대책을 신속하게 이행하는 한편 물류 리스크도 빠르게 대응해 수출 호조세가 이어지도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
