부산의 한 어학원 수업 중 5세 여아를 성추행한 혐의로 기소된 미국인 강사가 범행 당일 무려 소주 7병을 마신 후 수업을 진행한 것으로 드러났다.

부산지법 형사7부(부장판사 신헌기)는 미국인 강사 A씨(30대)의 성폭력 범죄 특별법 위반(13세 미만 강제추행),출입국관리법 위반 혐의 첫 재판을 16일 열었다고 밝혔다.

재판에서 A씨는 "범행 당일 통틀어 7병의 소주를 마셨다"고 진술했다.A씨는 지난 5월 22일 술에 취한 상태로 부산 동래구의 한 유명 어학원에서 수업을 했고,로또 당첨번호 통계수업 도중 5세 여아의 신체를 만지는 등 여러 차례에 걸쳐 강제 추행한 혐의로 기소됐다.

A씨는 올해 3월 입국했는데,회화지도비자가 아닌 관광비자로 입국했다.그래서 취업비자 없이 이 어학원에서 영어 강사로 일한 혐의도 함께 받고 있다.

A씨 변호인은 A씨가 혐의를 모두 인정하고 진심으로 반성하고 있으며,피해자 측과의 합의를 타진하기 위해 시간을 달라고 재판부에 요청했다.

하지만 법정에 출석한 피해자 측 변호인은 엄벌을 요구하는 탄원서를 제출했으니 검토해달라고 말했다.
