상병수당은 취업자가 업무와 관계없는 질병이나 부상으로 경제활동이 불가능한 경우 치료에 집중할 수 있도록 소득 공백을 보전해 주는 제도다.

업무상 질병·부상만 보장하는 산업재해보상보험의 사각지대를 보완하기 위해 2022년 7월 보건복지부가 도입했으며,태백 강원랜드카지노현재 지자체 14곳에서 시범사업이 시행되고 있다.

충주시는 지난 4월 시범사업 대상지에 선정됐다.

신청 자격은 충주에 거주하는 만 15∼65세 취업자 또는 지역 사업장에서 일하는 직장인과 자영업자 등이다.

지원 금액은 한 사람당 1일 4만7천560원(2024년 기준 최저임금의 60%)으로 최대 150일간 지원된다.

다만 가구 합산 건강보험료가 기준중위소득 120% 이하여야 한다.

희망자는 상병수당 신청용 진단서를 발급받아 14일 이내 의무기록지와 사전문답서,태백 강원랜드카지노근로 중단확인서 등을 준비해 국민건강보험공단 충주지사에 신청하면 된다.

시 관계자는 30일 "질병이나 부상으로 경제 활동에 어려움을 겪는 시민들에게 보탬이 될 것"이라고 말했다.
