(서울=연합뉴스) 박형빈 기자 = 인천국제공항공사(사장 이학재)는 1일 공사에서 인천공항의 차세대 경영 전략을 담은 '비전 2040 선포식'을 연다고 밝혔다.

비전 2040은 '인천공항 4.0 시대로의 도약'을 목표로 글로벌 거시환경과 공항 산업 패러다임 전환에 대응하고자 수립된 전략이다.

기존의 인천공항 2.0(최고 수준 항공교통 시설),베티스 축구3.0(차별화 경험 제공)에 이은 '새로운 가치 창출'을 주요 가치로 삼는다.

공사는 이를 위해 ▲ 디지털 공항 혁신 ▲ 초연결 모빌리티 허브 완성 ▲ 융복합 혁신 생태계 조성 ▲ 공항 전문그룹 도약 등 4대 전략과 ▲ 디지털 전환 ▲ 친환경 넷제로(탄소중립) ▲ AI 혁신 허브 등 3대 주요 과제를 중점적으로 추진할 방침이다.

공사는 이같은 계획을 통해 2040년 무렵 해외 공항을 10개 이상 운영하는 글로벌 공항 전문 그룹사로 거듭나고 세계 1위 수준의 항공운송 능력을 갖출 거라고 전망한다.

이학재 공사 사장은 "인천공항은 산업,베티스 축구기술 환경 등 모든 분야에서 혁신을 창출하고 지속 가능한 경영을 실천해 궁극적으로 세상을 바꾸는 공항으로 거듭날 것"이라고 말했다.
