고려제약의 불법 리베이트 의혹을 수사하는 경찰이,천여 명에 달하는 의사들의 리베이트 수수 정황을 확인하고 본격적인 조사에 나섭니다.

경찰은 이 같은 문제가 한 제약회사 만의 문제가 아니라고 보고,수사 확대 가능성을 열어놨습니다.

자사 의약품을 쓰는 대가로 불법 리베이트를 제공했단 혐의였습니다.

그 동안 압수물 분석에 주력했던 경찰이 불법 리베이트 수수 정황이 포착된 의사 천여 명에 대한 조사에 나섭니다.

조지호 서울경찰청장은 오늘 이들을 대상으로 "현금과 물품제공,강원랜드 카지노 종류골프접대 경위를 확인하기 위한 작업을 곧 시작할 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.

해당 의사들이 받은 것으로 의심되는 리베이트 규모는 적게는 수백만 원에서 많게는 수천만 원,강원랜드 카지노 종류조 청장은 특히,"한 제약회사만의 문제로 보기엔 적절치 않은 점이 있어 세무당국과 협의해 수사 확대도 배제하지 않고 있다"고 말했습니다.

앞서 경찰은 '리베이트 의혹'과 관련해 고려제약 관계자 8명과 의사 14명을 입건한 상태입니다.

이에 대해 고려제약 측은 "수사에 성실히 임하고 있다"고 밝혔습니다.
