의협은 18일 "황씨가 모 유튜브에 제왕절개 후기를 올려 '의료파업 때문에 무통주사를 못했다'고 주장하고,인생네컷 가슴다수의 언론이 유튜브 내용을 인용해 보도한 부분에 대해 심각한 유감을 표하는 동시에 정정보도를 요청한다"고 밝혔다.

이어 "황씨가 제왕절개로 분만한 지난 5월 의사 파업(집단휴진)이 없었기 때문에 의사 파업 때문에 무통 주사를 맞지 못했다는 것은 명백히 잘못된 보도"라면서 "무통주사와 페인버스터는 제왕절개 수술 중 시행하는 시술로,인생네컷 가슴황씨가 수술 후 의사가 없어서 무통 주사를 맞지 못했다고 주장하는 것도 논리적으로 맞지 않는다"고 지적했다.

국소 마취제인 페인버스터는 제왕절개 수술 부위에 신경 조직을 차단하고 통증을 조절하는 약물이다.최근 수술 뒤 극심한 통증을 줄이기 위해 페인버스터를 무통 주사와 함께 투여하는 병원이 늘고 있다.

의협은 "정부의 의료농단 사태에 맞서 의료 정상화를 위해 의사들이 단체행동에 나선 엄중한 시국에 다수 언론이 사실관계가 틀린 내용을 보도해 의사를 악마화하고 잘못된 여론을 선동한 것에 다시 한번 유감을 표한다"면서 "잘못된 사실을 게시한 황씨 측도 해당 게시물을 정정 또는 삭제 조치하기 바란다"고 밝혔다.

의협은 만약 정정보도 요청이 수용되지 않을 경우 언론중재위원회 제소 등 후속 조치에 나설 방침이라고 예고했다.
