[서울=뉴시스]이지용 기자 = 삼성전자가 플래그십 이미지센서 3종을 앞세워 스마트폰 카메라 시장 트렌드 선도에 나선다고 27일 밝혔다.

삼성전자는 스마트폰의 메인 및 서브 카메라에 적용할 수 있는 첨단 이미지센서 3종을 통해 카메라 화각에 상관없이 일관된 사용자 경험을 제공할 방침이다.

3종 중 하나인 '아이소셀 HP9'은 0.56마이크로미터(㎛) 크기의 픽셀 2억개를 1.4분의 1인치 옵티컬 포맷에 구현한 망원용 이미지센서 제품이다.각 컬러 필터에 해당하는 빛 정보를 더욱 정확하게 전달할 수 있다.옵티컬 포맷은 외부 렌즈가 영상을 맺히게 하는 영역의 지름을 인치로 바꾼 값이다.

이를 통해 전작 대비 약 12% 개선된 감광 능력과 약 10% 향상된 자동초점 분리비 성능으로 더 선명한 색감 표현이 가능하다.

'아이소셀 GNJ'는 1.57분의 1인치 크기의 옵티컬 포맷에 1.0㎛ 픽셀 5000만 개를 구현한 '듀얼 픽셀' 제품이다.듀얼 픽셀은 두 개의 포토다이오드를 탑재해 화질 손상 없이 빠르고 정확하게 자동 초점 기능을 구현한다.

프리뷰 모드에서는 전작 대비 약 29%,티몬 룰렛비디오 모드에서는 4K 60fps(초당프레임) 기준 약 34%의 소비 전력이 개선됐다.

'아이소셀 JN5'는 2.76분의 1인치 크기 옵티컬 포맷에 0.64㎛ 픽셀 5000만 개를 구현한 제품이다.픽셀에 들어온 빛이 변환된 전하의 전송 능력을 높이고 노이즈를 대폭 개선해 어두운 곳에서도 선명한 화질을 구현한다.

위상차 자동초점 기술을 적용해 빠르게 움직이는 피사체를 흔들림 없이 포착한다.
