서울달은 헬륨가스의 부력을 이용해 열기구처럼 수직 비행하는 가스 풍선기구다.지름 약 22ｍ인 도넛 모양으로 가운데가 뚫린 구조다.서울달은 1회당 최대 30명까지 탈 수 있으며 130m 상공까지 올라갔다가 7분가량 머문 후 하강한다.안전을 위해 기구에 설치된 그물망 사이로 여의도 빌딩 숲 전경과 함께 마포대교와 서강대교,빅카지노 쿠폰국회의사당 너머 양화대교와 성산대교,빅카지노 쿠폰월드컵대교까지 한눈에 조망이 가능하다.
