카카오모빌리티 가맹본부가 택시 사업자에 과도한 수수료를 징수한다는 의혹에 공정거래위원회가 제재에 착수했다.

15일 업계에 따르면 공정위는 DGT모빌리티의 가맹사업법 위반 의혹에 대해 제재 의견을 담은 심사보고서(검찰의 공소장 격)를 발송했다.

DGT모빌리티는 카카오모빌리티의 대구와 경북 지역 가맹본부다.

대구시는 앞서 DGT모빌리티가 가맹 택시와 수수료 계약을 체결하면서 자사 앱을 이용하지 않고 거둔 수입까지도 매출액에 포함해 수수료를 과도하게 징수했다며 공정위에 신고했다.

주행 중 손님을 거리에서 직접 태우거나,인터넷 바카라 조작'대구로' 등 다른 플랫폼을 통해 콜을 받는 경우에도 수수료를 받는 것은 부당하다는 주장이었다.

사건을 검토한 공정위는 DGT모빌리티의 수수료 징수 기준과 방식이 불공정 거래에 해당한다고 보고 제재 절차에 돌입한 것으로 전해졌다.

공정위는 조만간 해당 사건에 대한 심의를 열고 제재 여부와 수위를 결정할 방침이다.
