코스닥 상장사 비피도(238200)에서 81억 원 규모 횡령 사건이 발생해 주식 매매 거래가 정지됐다.

비피도는 27일 전날 자금 업무 담당 직원이 80억 7589만 원을 횡령하는 사건이 발생했다고 공시했다.횡령 규모는 올 1분기 자기자본(508억 원)의 약 15.9%에 해당하는 규모다.

비피도 측은 “횡령 발생 후 피의자 계좌동결 및 출국금지를 조치했으며 피의자를 체포했다”며 “추후 진행상황을 공시할 예정”이라고 알렸다.

한국거래소는 횡령 사건으로 상장적격성 실질심사 대상 사유가 발생함에 따라 비피도의 주권 매매 거래를 정지했다.정지 기간은 상장적격성 실질심사 대상 여부에 관한 결정일까지다.

거래소는 다음 달 18일까지 이번 사건과 관련해 비피도의 상장적격성 실질심사 대상 여부를 결정한다.실질심사 대상에 해당하는 경우 기업심사위원회의 심의 절차로 넘어가 상장폐지 여부를 결정하게 되고,53회 소년체전해당하지 않은 경우 거래 정지가 해제된다.

이날 거래 정지 전까지 비피도 주식은 전 거래일 대비 3.61% 내린 4535원을 기록했다.시가총액은 371억 원이다.
