통계청 '2024년 맥류,봄감자,사과,월드컵 레반배 재배면적조사'

(세종=연합뉴스) 송정은 기자 = 사과와 배의 재배면적이 인건비 상승의 영향으로 2년째 줄어든 것으로 나타났다.

통계청이 27일 발표한 '2024년 맥류,월드컵 레반봄감자,사과,배 재배면적 조사' 결과에 따르면 올해 사과 재배면적은 3만3천298㏊(헥타르·1㏊=1만㎡)로 작년보다 491㏊(1.5%) 감소했다.

사과 재배면적은 전염병으로 2020년 4.1% 줄었다가 2021년(8.7%),2022년(0.8%)에 회복했다.그러다 작년 다시 2.4% 감소해 올해까지 2년 연속 줄었다.

올해 배 재배면적은 9천394㏊로 작년보다 213ha(2.2%) 줄어,마찬가지로 작년(-0.8%)에 이어 2년째 감소했다.

다만 최종 가격에는 재배면적보다는 단위 생산량이 영향을 미친다고 통계청 관계자는 설명했다.재배면적이 줄더라도 생산량은 늘 수 있다는 의미다.

올해 보리·밀 등 맥류 재배면적은 3만2천834㏊로 1년 전보다 4천16㏊(10.9%) 줄었다.파종기 가격 약세 영향이다.

보리가 2만3천298㏊로 작년보다 1천952㏊(7.7%) 감소했고,밀 재배면적은 2천64㏊(17.8%) 급감한 9천536㏊로 집계됐다.

보리 재배면적은 보리 소비가 줄어들면서 2019∼2022년 꾸준히 감소하다가 지난해 6.8% 늘었던 바 있다.

올해 봄감자 재배면적은 파종기 평년 대비 가격 호조 등으로 작년보다 822㏊(5.6%) 증가한 1만5천521㏊로 나타났다.
