3거래일째 하락…"AI 열풍 과열로 주식시장 거품 우려 제기돼"

(샌프란시스코=연합뉴스) 김태종 특파원 = 거침없는 상승세를 이어가던 인공지능(AI) 칩 선두 주자 엔비디아 주가가 3거래일째 연속 큰 폭으로 하락하고 있다.

24일(현지시간) 뉴욕증권거래소에 따르면 이날 미 동부 시간 기준 오후 1시 10분(서부 시간 오전 10시 10분) 엔비디아 주가는 전 거래일보다 5.65% 내린 119.42달러(16만5천754원)에 거래됐다.

지난 18일 135.58달러의 최고가(종가 기준)를 기록한 이후 3거래일 연속 하락세로,슬롯 무료 신용 보증금 없음이 기간 주가는 10% 넘게 떨어졌다.

3조 달러를 넘었던 시가총액도 2조9천370억 달러를 나타내며 3조 달러 아래로 내려가며 시총 순위 3위로 되돌아갔다.

지난 18일 엔비디아는 시총이 3조3천350억달러까지 치솟으며 마이크로소프트(MS)와 애플을 제치고 처음으로 '세계에서 가장 비싼 기업'에 오른 바 있다.

엔비디아 주가의 하락은 그동안 급상승한 데 따른 차익을 실현하려는 매물이 출현한 데 따른 것으로 풀이된다.

엔비디아 주가는 AI 열풍을 등에 업고 2022년 말(10분의 1 액면 분할 환산 14.61달러) 대비 전 거래일(126.57달러) 7.5배 급등했다.

AP 통신은 "엔비디아가 지난주 MS를 제치고 월스트리트에서 가장 가치 있는 주식에 오른 이후 하락세를 보인다"며 "AI 열풍이 너무 과열돼 주식 시장의 거품과 투자자들의 지나친 기대에 대한 우려가 제기되고 있다"고 설명했다.
