이 사건이 최근 다시 주목받고 국민적 공분을 사면서 지역 차원의 사과에 나선 겁니다.

공동 사과문을 대표로 낭독한 안병구 시장은 "더 나은 지역 사회를 만들 책임이 있음에도 '나와 우리 가족,슬롯 맥스 윈내 친구는 무관하다'는 이유로 비극적인 사건에 대해 제대로 된 사과와 반성을 하지 못했다"고 밝혔습니다.

안 시장은 "피해자와 가족에게 다시 한번 사과드리며,슬롯 맥스 윈지역 사회의 반성을 통해 안전하고 건강한 도시를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다"며 "상처받은 모든 분께 진심으로 사과한다"고 말했습니다.

이어 "피해 학생과 그 가족이 겪었을 고통을 충분히 이해하지 못했고,슬롯 맥스 윈그들의 목소리에 귀 기울이지 못했다"며 "모두 우리의 불찰이다"고 덧붙였습니다.

안 시장은 "앞으로 밀양시는 지역 사회와 손잡고,안전한 생활 공간을 조성하며,슬롯 맥스 윈도시 시스템 재점검,범죄 예방 등 건강한 도시를 만들기 위해 총력을 기울이겠다"고 강조했습니다.
