전국의 커피전문점 수가 10만 개를 돌파했습니다.

통계청에 따르면 국내 커피전문점 수는 2022년 말 기준 10만 729개로,한국u20 월드컵2021년의 9만 6,한국u20 월드컵437개보다 4,292개(4.5%) 늘어 10만 개를 넘어섰습니다.

커피전문점은 2016년 5만 1,551개에서 6년 새 2배 가까이 급증했습니다.

커피전문점의 매출액은 2022년 기준 15조 5천억 원,한국u20 월드컵종사자는 27만 명으로 집계됐습니다.

규모는 종사자 1∼4명 이내 매장이 8만 4천 개로 대부분을 차지했습니다.

국내 카페 프랜차이즈 가맹점은 2만 6천 개에 달했습니다.

공정거래위원회가 4월 발표한 2023년 가맹사업 현황 통계에 따르면 2022년 기준 커피 업종 가맹점 수는 전년보다 13% 늘었습니다.

커피 브랜드 수는 886개로 치킨 브랜드 669개보다 200개 넘게 많았습니다.

특히 1999년 7월 국내에 문을 연 스타벅스는 25년 동안 매장을 1,한국u20 월드컵900개 넘게 늘리며 급성장했습니다.

이디야커피나 메가커피,한국u20 월드컵컴포즈커피 같은 중저가 커피나 저가 커피 브랜드는 매장이 3천 개 안팎까지 늘었습니다.

커피 매장 수가 급격히 늘어난 데는 대표적인 '소자본 창업' 업종이기 때문입니다.

상권에 따라 차이가 있지만,프랜차이즈 카페는 1억 원 이내,작은 개인 카페는 몇천만 원선으로 창업할 수 있기 때문이라는 분석입니다.

특히 특별한 기술이 필요하지 않아 조금만 교육받아도 기계로 다 할 수 있기 때문에 진입 장벽이 낮습니다.

하지만 국내 편의점 4사의 매장 수가 지난해 말 기준 5만 5000여 개인데 비해 커피전문점이 두 배에 달하는 현재 상황에 대해 업계 전문가들은 사실상 포화상태로 프렌차이즈 매장 수가 늘어날 수 있겠지만 전체 매장 수가 늘어나기는 쉽지 않을 것으로 전망하고 있습니다.
