경찰의 음주운전 단속에 걸리고도 11일 만에 또다시 술을 마시고 운전대를 잡은 30대 현직 검사가 재판에 넘겨졌다.

4일 검찰에 따르면 서울남부지검은 지난달 14일 음주운전,아시안컵 클린스만 감독음주측정거부 등 혐의(도로교통법 위반)로 현직 남부지검 소속 검사 A씨를 불구속 기소했다고 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난 4월 24일 서울 양천구 목동에서 차를 몰다가 신호등을 들이받는 사고를 낸 혐의를 받는다.

경찰 조사에 따르면 당시 A씨의 혈중알코올농도는 0.03% 이상 0.08% 미만인 면허정지 수준이었다.

A씨는 같은 달 13일에도 서울 영등포구에서 음주운전 단속에 걸렸다가 음주 측정을 거부한 혐의로 경찰 조사를 받았다.경찰이 측정을 위해 채혈을 시도했지만 A씨가 거부했다고 한다.

대검찰청은 해당 사실을 보고받고 법무부에 A씨의 직무 정지를 요청했다.

수사를 이어가던 경찰은 A씨를 불구속 송치했고,아시안컵 클린스만 감독검찰은 해당 사건을 병합해 수사했다.
