[헤럴드경제=최원혁 기자] 인천의 한 군부대 사격장 인근 아파트에서 도비탄(발사 후 장애물에 닿아 탄도를 이탈한 총알)으로 추정되는 총탄이 박힌 채 발견돼 군 당국이 조사에 나섰다.

24일 육군에 따르면 지난 21일 인천 한 아파트 옥상에 설치된 실외기에 탄두가 박혀있다는 신고가 경찰에 접수됐다.

군과 경찰이 함께 확인한 결과 실외기에는 탄두 1개가 박혀 있었다.다행히 인명 피해는 없었다.

해당 탄은 동(銅)으로 만들어진 5.56㎜ 소총탄 '동심탄'으로 확인됐다.

군에서는 그동안 납탄을 사용해왔지만,경기출장안마환경오염 우려로 현재는 일반 사격훈련 시 동심탄과 납탄을 함께 쓴다고 육군은 설명했다.

육군 관계자는 "전 부대의 5.56㎜ 동심탄 사용을 잠정적으로 통제했다"며 "국방부 과학수사연구소에서 실외기에서 발견된 탄을 정밀 검사 중이며 결과에 따라 후속 조치를 할 것"이라고 말했다
