(아산=연합뉴스) 유의주 기자 = 충남 아산시가 '자율주행 인지 및 운행 안전(SOTIF) 성능검증 기반 구축 사업'으로 관련 기업의 국제규격 대응에 필요한 '상용화 지원 시스템' 구축에 앞장서고 있다.

4일 시에 따르면 운행 안전이란 고장 또는 외부 침입이 아닌 역광 등 기상 조건 및 이미지 오인식 등 주변 환경에 대한 인식 성능의 한계로 인한 위험을 방지하기 위한 국제표준이다.

자율주행의 핵심기술인 인지 성능 한계 등에 대한 대처 능력 검증을 통해 자율주행 산업의 기술경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 이번 사업에는 국비 100억원을 포함해 모두 143억원이 투입된다.

주요 사업 내용은 운행 안전 검증을 위한 검증 단계별 장비구축(11종),금융거래정보 제공사실 통보서 도박시뮬레이션 모델 등 플랫폼 구축,금융거래정보 제공사실 통보서 도박기술지도 등 기업지원,금융거래정보 제공사실 통보서 도박전문가 양성 등이다.

자율주행 핵심부품 관련 기업의 기술 고도화 및 경쟁력 강화를 위해 사업이 시작됐으며,금융거래정보 제공사실 통보서 도박충남도와 함께 한국자동차연구원을 주관기관으로 2027년 12월까지 5년 동안 추진한다.

시는 지난 3일 온양제일호텔에서 한국자동차연구원 주관으로 산·학·연 관계자 60여명이 참여한 가운데 자율주행 운행 안전 기술 세미나를 열었다.

문병록 기획경제국장은 "자율주행 산업은 아산시가 새롭게 도약할 수 있는 신기술"이라며 "이번 사업을 통해 관련 기업들이 글로벌 기술경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
