휴진 의원 앞‘업무개시명령’도착 안내서 [사진 = 연합뉴스]대한의사협회(의협)가 의료계 집단 휴진을 시행한 18일 의료기관의 휴진 참여율이 14.9%로 집계됐다.

보건복지부에 따르면 18일 오후 4시 기준 정부의 업무개시명령에도 불구하고 휴진한 것으로 확인된 의료기관 수는 총 5379개로 나타났다.정부가 유선으로 휴진 여부를 확인한 총 3만6059개의 의료기관 중 14.9%에 해당한다.

이는 2020년 8월14일 의협의 집단휴진율인 32.6%의 절반 수준이다.다만 사전에 정부에 휴진을 신고한 비율인 4.02%보다는 3배 이상 높았다.

지역별로 보면 서울 16.6%,월드컵 일장경기 17.3%,인천 14.5%,부산 11.9%,대구 13.8%,월드컵 일장광주 8.4%,대전 22.9%,월드컵 일장세종 19.0%,전북 15.2%,월드컵 일장전남 6.4%,경북 14.2%,경남 8.5%,제주 13.4% 등으로 확인됐다.

앞서 정부와 지자체는 이날 오전 9시 의협의 집단휴진에 엄정 대응하기 위해 의료법 제59조 제2항에 따른 업무개시명령을 모든 의원에 대해 발령했다.정부와 지자체는 향후 현장 채증 결과에 따라 집단행동의 일환으로 불법 휴진이 최종 확정된 의료기관들에 대해서는 법과 원칙에 따라 엄중히 집행할 것이라고 밝혔다.
