부산시와 KB국민은행은 4일 시청 국제의전실에서 어르신들의 안전하고 건강한 노후를 위한 업무 협약식과 기부금 전달식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

협약에 따라 양측은 친환경 노인일자리‘우리동네 사회가치경영(ESG)센터’를 조성하고‘부산형 해비타트 챌린지 사업’을 추진하는 데 협력한다.

특히 시는 두 사업의 운영과 지도·감독,2023-2024 잉글랜드 FA컵 64강언론홍보 등의 업무를 총괄하고 KB국민은행은 사업비를 지원하는 방식으로 이뤄진다.

이날 KB국민은행은 2억9000만 원을 시에 기부했다.기부금은 중구에 조성 예정인 센터 5호점 등에 쓰인다.

센터는 폐플라스틱 수거,2023-2024 잉글랜드 FA컵 64강환경개선 교육 보급,2023-2024 잉글랜드 FA컵 64강재활용 친환경 제품 제작·판매 등으로 지속 가능한 노인 적합형 친환경 일자리 창출을 목표로 한다.

부산형 해비타트 챌린지 사업은 노인 가구의 노후화된 주택을 고령층 눈높이에 맞춰 생활하기에 안전하고 편리한 구조로 공간을 개조하는 사업이다.

KB국민은행은 제1호 사회공헌 기업으로 이번 사업에 참여한다.

시는 올해 센터 3~5호점 조성을 위해 민간 기부금 총 9억1000만 원을 확보했으며 연내 모두 개소한다는 계획이다.

시 관계자는 “민선 8기 동안 구·군별 1개소씩 16호점까지 신설할 계획”이라며 “어르신들을 위한 지역사회의 관심과 따뜻한 사회적 공동체 붐이 지속적으로 이어질 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
