일각선 다국적연합훈련 '림팩' 연관 가능성 제기

(타이베이=연합뉴스) 김철문 통신원 = 대만해협을 둘러싼 군사적 긴장이 고조되는 가운데 대만 해군이 남부 핑둥 주펑 기지 등에서 약 한 달 동안 미사일 발사 훈련을 실시한다고 자유시보 등 대만언론이 8일 보도했다.

한 소식통은 대만 교통부 항항국과 농업국 어업서가 지난 5일 공개한 내용을 인용해 이같이 밝혔다.

그는 대만 해군사령부가 이달 30일부터 내달 30일까지 한 달간 동부 타이둥,태국여자특징핑둥 동부 해역과 공역에서 대함·대공 무기 실사격 훈련을 실시할 예정이라고 설명했다.

이어 과거 동남 지역 외해에서 실시한 원점 타격용 장거리 미사일 실사격 훈련의 경우 진행 주체가 국책 방산연구소인 국가중산과학연구원(NCSIST)이었는데,태국여자특징이번 훈련은 해군 사령부가 주도한다고 강조했다.

그는 이에 따라 해군에 배치된 슝펑 초음속 대함 미사일 등 실전 배치 무기가 이번 훈련의 주축을 이룰 가능성이 있다고 전했다.

다른 소식통은 대만 국방부가 이달 22일부터 4박 5일간 진행하는 연례 합동군사훈련인 한광 40호 또는 지난달 26일부터 미국 하와이에서 진행 중인 세계 최대 규모 다국적 해상 훈련인 '2024 환태평양훈련'(림팩)과의 관련 가능성을 제기하기도 했다.

한편,태국여자특징대만 국방부는 전날 오전 6시부터 24시간 동안 대만 주변 공역과 해역에서 중국군 군용기 14대와 군함 7척을 각각 포착했으며 이 가운데 군용기 13대가 대만해협 중간선을 넘어 중부,서남 및 동남 공역에 나타났다고 밝혔다.
