고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)가 조국혁신당이 고발한 김건희 여사 명품백 의혹 사건 수사에 착수했다.

공수처 관계자는 25일 기자들과 만나 "조국혁신당에서 김 여사와 권익위원장을 고발한 사건이 수사2부에 배당돼 수사 중"이라고 밝혔다.

수사2부(송창진 부장검사)는 명품 가방 수수 의혹과 함께 시민단체가 고발한 윤석열 대통령 부부의 뇌물수수·청탁금지법 위반 혐의도 들여다보고 있다.

지난 19일 조국혁신당 '검찰독재 조기종식 특별위원회' 소속 박은정·차규근 의원은 고발장을 내고 김 여사를 알선수재와 직권남용 혐의로 고발했다.

또 국민권익위원회가 김 여사에 대해 청탁금지법 위반사항이 없다고 종결 처리한 것을 두고 유철환 권익위원장과 정승윤 부위원장을 직무 유기 혐의로 고발했다.

이원석 검찰총장의 국회 위증 혐의 고발 건은 수사4부(이대환 부장검사)에 배당됐다.이 총장은 지난 2022년 9월5일 국회 인사청문회에서 거짓 증언을 한 혐의로 고발됐다.
