(부산=연합뉴스) 박성제 기자 = 구덕운동장 아파트 건립 반대 주민협의회는 27일 부산시의회에서 기자회견을 열고 "부산시는 노후화된 구덕운동장 재개발을 명목으로 서구 도심의 유일한 공원에 아파트를 건설하려 한다"고 반발했다.

부산시는 구덕운동장을 축구 전용 경기장과 주민체육복합시설,포커 페이스카드아파트 등으로 재개발을 추진하는 도시재생 사업을 추진하고 있다.

시는 사업비 7천990억원을 들여 구덕운동장 일대 1만1천577㎡ 부지에 1만5천석 규모 축구전용 구장을 비롯해 문화·생활체육시설과 상업·업무시설 등을 건립한다.

주민들은 "주택도시보증공사와 부산시가 부동산 투자회사 리츠(REITs)를 설립해 자금을 조달하고,포커 페이스카드구덕운동장 체육공원에 아파트와 오피스텔을 지어 돈을 갚겠다는 발상에 분노가 치솟는다"며 "백 년 역사를 지닌 부산의 미래 유산이자 원도심의 스포츠 메카인 구덕운동장이 위기에 처한 것"이라고 말했다.

이들은 부산시가 구덕운동장 재개발 사업을 즉각 철회해야 한다고 주장했다.

이들은 "정상적인 도시재생 사업이 진행될 수 있도록 예산부터 확보해야 한다"며 "도시재생,건축,포커 페이스카드환경,포커 페이스카드도시공학,포커 페이스카드스포츠,포커 페이스카드교육 등 각 분야의 전문가들이 모이고 시민 누구나 참여할 수 있는 공론화의 장을 마련해 충분한 숙의 과정을 거쳐야 한다"고 촉구했다.
