[수원=뉴시스] 이병희 기자 = 경기도보건환경연구원이 미국 환경자원학회(ERA·Environmental Resource Associate)가 주관한 '2024년 국제숙련도 평가' 수질 분야와 먹는물 분야에서 각각 최우수 분석기관에 선정됐다.

11일 경기도보건환경연구원에 따르면 국제숙련도 시험은 세계적인 숙련도 시험 운영기관인 미국 환경자원학회가 측정·분석 자료에 대한 신뢰성과 정확성을 평가하기 위해 매년 실시한다.국제적인 신뢰도를 높일 수 있어 세계 각국의 정부기관,연구소,충주 야구민간분석기관 등이 참가하고 있다.

평가 방법은 평가기관이 제공한 시료를 분석기관이 분석한 뒤 데이터를 입력하면 측정값을 Z값(측정값과 기준값의 차를 측정값의 분산 정도로 나눈 값)을 사용해 평가 항목별로 평가하고 정확성에 따라 만족,충주 야구주의,불만족 등 3단계로 진행한다.

연구원은 이번에 참가한 시험에서 수질 분야 21항목,충주 야구먹는 물 분야 17항목 모두 최고등급인 '만족' 판정을 받아 분석능력 우수성을 입증했다.

황찬원 물환경연구부장은 "연구원은 앞으로도 지속적으로 측정분석 역량 강화와 국제적인 기준(ISO/IEC 17025)에 의한 공인시험기관 운영을 통해 공공기관으로서의 신뢰도를 높일 뿐만 아니라 국제경쟁력을 확보해 도민에게 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해 더욱 노력할 예정"이라고 말했다．
