한의사들이 "의료공백을 메꿀 테니 관련 권한을 확대해달라"고 정부에 제안했습니다.

대한한의사협회는 오늘(27일) "의사파업으로 1차 의료 공백이 예상되는 주요 질환들은 한의원의 진료로 감당 가능하다"며 정책제안을 발표했습니다.

우선 의료취약지역에서 한의과 공중보건의 역할 확대를 제안했습니다.

협회에 따르면 의과 공보의는 지난 2015년 2239명에서 지난해 1434명으로 36% 감소했지만 한의과 공보의는 같은 기간 1026명에서 1057명으로 꾸준히 공급이 유지되고 있습니다.

협회 측은 "한의과 공보의가 의과 공보의 대안으로서 1차 의료를 담당하기 위해서는 보건진료소의 처방 의약품 등 진료권이 필요하다"며 "집단휴진과 같은 의료 '심각단계'에선 4주 직무교육 실시 후 투입하자"고 제안했습니다.

또 한의사의 혈액·소변검사기,프로야구 우승팀초음파진단기기,프로야구 우승팀체외진단키트 등 진단기기 활용을 급여화해줄 것을 요청했습니다.

"한의사가 상급병원 이송을 위한 질환을 감별할 수 있어야 1차 의료 공백을 최소화할 수 있다"는 겁니다.

이 밖에도 한의사에게 X-ray 사용과 예방접종 권한을 부여할 것을 제안했습니다.

협회는 "발목염좌 등 진단에 X-ray 사용은 필수적"이라며 "예방접종도 의사가 독점하다 보니 코로나19 등 상황에서 인력부족이 발생한다"고 밝혔습니다.
