충주시의회가 후반기 원구성을 놓고 파행을 거듭하고 있습니다.

지난주 당내 경선에 불복하고 김낙우 의장이 충주시의장에 당선된데 이어,파라곤 슬롯

오늘(8일)은 상임위 구성을 놓고 정회에 정회를 거듭하는 등 여야 의원들 간 명분없는 자리 나눠먹기 싸움이 이어졌습니다.

이윤영 기자의 보도입니다.

충주시의회 임시회 2차 본회의 마지막날.

개회 5분 만에 정회가 선포됩니다.

후반기 상임위원회 구성을 놓고 의원들간의 이견이 좁혀지지 않으면서 의회가 멈춰선 겁니다.

4시간 40분여 만에야 속개됐지만,파라곤 슬롯민주당 몫으로 사전협의된 행정문화위원장에 국민의힘 고민서 의원이 당선되면서 또다시 정회 요청이 쏟아졌습니다.

의원들이 썰물처럼 빠져나가고

10분 만에 속개된 의회는 산업건설위원장에 예상과 달리 국민의힘 신효일 의원이 당선되면서 또다시 정회 요청이 빗발쳤습니다.

이어지는 상임위원장 투표에도 정회요청은 거듭됐고,파라곤 슬롯의원들간 막말과 고성도 쏟아졌습니다.

"의원 상호간에 지금 곪아있기 때문에 상처가 아물려면 시간이 좀 걸리겠지만 제가 더 노력을 해서."

지난주 국민의힘은 의원총회를 열어 강명철 의원을 후반기 의장 후보로 선출했습니다.

하지만 당내 경선에 불복하고 출마한 김낙우 의원이 본회의에서 의장에 당선되면서 거센 후폭풍을 예고했습니다.

국민의힘 충주지역위원회는 김낙우 의장과 박해수 의원에 대해 해당행위로 규정하고 징계를 요청한 상태입니다.
